we hate corporate jargon as much as you do. here is the raw, unfiltered truth about what happens to your data when you visit BLRD.

1. the data we collect

• the stuff you give us: if you use our contact form or hit our inbox, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

• the background noise: we use standard cookies to keep the site functioning. we also use google analytics, which collects anonymized, high-level data (like the fact that someone from the USA visited the site on a tuesday using a mobile phone). it does not tell us who you are, what your ip address is, or what you had for breakfast.

2. why we collect it: we use your name and email for exactly one reason: to reply to your message and talk about your project. we use the analytics data for one reason: to see if people across the globe are looking at our art. nothing more.

3. the zero-bullshit guarantee: we do not sell your data. we do not trade it, rent it, distribute it, or hand it over to third-party ad brokers. your messages stay in our secure inbox.

4. cookies: google analytics uses cookies to track site visits. if you are strictly anti-cookie, you can block them in your browser settings. our site will still look loud, and you can still view our work without them.
 

5. your rights: it is your data. if you want to know what emails we have from you, or if you want us to permanently nuke your contact info from our systems, just tell us. we will delete it immediately.
